TED@DestinationCanada
On February 23, 2023, TED partnered with Destination Canada to spotlight 14 diverse speakers, representing every region of Canada, and illustrating the breadth of spirit and irrepressible energy that makes Canada so distinct. The masterful storytelling by these remarkable Canadians focused on the idea of “O P E N,” meaning: “When we come together with open hearts and open minds, anything is possible. We see connections everywhere. We welcome all ideas, experiences and ways of life—because this is how we learn, grow and change.”

He dives into the psychology behind this all-too-human condition -- and proposes that it helps make our world a little more unpredictable and fun.

Exploring the "brain" behind machine learning, neural networker Alona Fyshe delves into the language processing abilities of talkative tech (like the groundbreaking chatbot and internet obsession ChatGPT) and explains how different it is from your own brain -- even though it can sound convincingly human.
