We the Future
Presented by TED, the Skoll Foundation, and UN Foundation
Tuesday, September 24, 2019
New York, NY
2—6:30pm
We the Future, a TED presentation in collaboration with the Skoll Foundation and the United Nations Foundation, takes place during the UN General Assembly and Global Goals Week. This event is invitation-only.
We live in challenging times. Yet behind the dismaying headlines and heartbreaking predictions, millions of people around the world are envisioning new ways to materialize the possible and build a better world.
We the Future will share some of these stories. Visionary talks will spotlight daring ideas, deep analysis, cautionary tales, and behavior-changing strategies.
The program will explore our most pressing, collective challenges and the most promising solutions emerging from every corner of the globe. We’ll discuss topics such as inequality, climate change, global health, and more. These solutions are aiming at the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), created in partnership with individuals around the world and adopted by world leaders at the United Nations in 2015.
We'll mix in some invigorating live music alongside opportunities to connect and network.
