What does it take to create an environment where each person is empowered to bring their best to work?
Managers are often busy, and can be stretched too thin in the workplace. They may not have the right tools to meet employee needs, and may find it difficult to provide meaningful feedback and opportunities for development. Traditional approaches to feedback about workplace performance are often rushed and one-sided, and can be detrimental to trust and engagement.
What if we shifted the paradigm of leadership-driven feedback? What if each individual in an organization began taking the lead on their own development? Let’s look at a 4 step framework that will help us to do just that.
Since each of us has the greatest interest in our own growth and career, we are in the best position to drive our development and gain momentum toward our goals. Let’s take a risk, make a change, increase our impact, and feel awesome about our work!
