• May 2018
Blake Ochoa poignantly takes on the topic of suicide, mental illness, and the impacts of media on creating a negative stigma about mental illness in our society. He argues that not only does media’s portrayal and handling of mental illness not help those who suffer from mental illness, but it in fact perpetuates and exacerbates the struggle of those who suffer from it, hindering them from feeling open and safe enough to seek help.
