Most everyone knows someone affected by Parkinson's disease; despite decades of research, the disease remains uncured. In his talk, Jeremiah Pate delves into a non-traditional solution for Parkinson's disease. By redesigning the proteins within our bodies, it may be possible to use our own defenses to defeat Parkinson's. Despite its unlikely beginnings this research my lay foundations that could one day lead to a cure for Parkinson's.
