John Halpin is a polymath. He is Director General of John Abbott College, has had a 20 year career as an engineer and manager in the aerospace industry, is a Choir Director of over 40 years, and is a composer of 20 musicals performed in Canada, England and the USA. With humour and a musical touch, Mr Halpin argues that in an age of specialization, one can be successful as a “Jack-of-All-Trades” and perhaps more fulfilled as a result.
