In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr Ewa Kosowska-Korniak

Dr Ewa Kosowska-Korniak is a personal and business development coach, mediator, communication expert, mentor, and inspiring speaker. She is also the host of the podcast "Wyspa Inspiracji" and the owner of the O-Media Communication Institute. A passionate advocate for mediation, meaningful conversation, and mindfulness toward others, she focuses on helping people improve their relationships and personal growth. "My goal is to inspire others to work on themselves and their relationships with the world around them. To foster growth and change, which begins within us..." She holds a doctorate in law, serves as an academic lecturer, and leads postgraduate studies such as "Mediation in Work, Life, and Business" and "Motivational Dialogue" at WSB Merito University in Opole, Wrocław, and Warsaw. As a trainer of psychosocial skills, certified with a first-level trainer recommendation from the Polish Psychological Association, and a coach, she skillfully combines workshop techniques with her legal and psychological knowledge, as well as her experience in mediation. Her 28-year professional career—including her decision to leave a secure full-time job and build her own business from scratch—has inspired participants in her training sessions and postgraduate students to pursue their career aspirations. Privately, she is a mother of two adult sons, the owner of two cats and one dog, a traveler, and a nature enthusiast who finds joy in forests, gardening, and being in touch with nature.

Jakub Zamojski

Jakub Zamojski is a basketball referee with 24 years of experience officiating at the international level, including in the EuroLeague, the top European basketball league. He is also a referee in the Polish Basketball League (PLK), consistently receiving nominations for PLK final games each year. His portfolio includes officiating at high-profile events such as the EuroLeague Final Four in Berlin in 2009, EuroBasket, and the World Championships. He is also the founder of REFEREE.PL Camp, a program dedicated to helping referees from around the world develop their skills.

Maciej Kawulski

Maciej Kawulski is a film director, known for creating hits such as "How I Became a Gangster. A True Story", "How I Fell in Love with a Gangster", and "Mr. Kleks' Academy". He is also the co-founder and co-owner of KSW, the largest mixed martial arts organization in Europe, which has promoted fighters like Mamed Khalidov and Jan Błachowicz. Maciej Kawulski is a man from the Warsaw district of Jelonki who has proven that success is possible regardless of where you come from.

Maciej Kochański

Maciej Kochański is the Director of the Marketing and Public Relations Office at the University of Opole and the Rector’s Representative for Student Affairs. Since 2019, he has been teaching courses at the Faculty of Political Science and Social Communication at the University of Opole, covering topics such as press advocacy, PR project management, people management, and advertising campaigns. He is a CEO, trainer, teacher, and passionate social activist. His areas of interest primarily include communication, public relations, task force management, and the creation and leadership of creative teams. From a young age, he has actively supported numerous non-governmental organizations, gaining experience in managing non-profit entities. He is a practitioner who seeks validation for his theories in academic literature. In 2015-2016, he served as a member of the Executive Council, spokesperson for the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland, and Chair of the Promotion and Information Committee of PSRP. Since 2017, he has been collaborating with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Opole, delivering courses on public speaking, leadership development, and task force management. Additionally, since January 2017, he has been a Member of the Council of the Institute for the Development of Social Competencies based in Warsaw, through which he has conducted numerous training sessions and lectures for student councils and youth organizations.

Mateusz Golomb

Mateusz Golomb is the creator of the project "Okiem Sportowca," which provides comprehensive services for sports events, primarily those related to martial arts. Through a unique approach to the sports and marketing industries, he successfully combines these two fields while promoting the values inherent in Far Eastern martial arts. He has been associated with Kyokushin Karate for nearly 20 years, initially as an athlete and now as a PR specialist. During his sports career, he won three gold, three silver, and one bronze medal at the European Championships, as well as several medals at the Polish Championships. For over 12 years, he has been involved in photography, video production, and marketing. His company, "Okiem Sportowca," covered the largest Kyokushin Karate tournament held in Tokyo, Japan. It also developed the visual identity for the European Pole Expo in Wrocław and provided photographic services for the City of Vienna during the Vienna Days in Kraków, attended by high-ranking officials from both Vienna and Kraków.

Robert Rutkowski

Robert Rutkowski is an educator, psychotherapist, mentor, coach, and lecturer at the Academy of Leadership Psychology at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School. In the 1980s, he was a member of the Polish national basketball team. He is the author of psychological books such as "Oswoić narkomana" (Taming the Addict), "Pułapki przyjemności" (The Traps of Pleasure), and "Toksyczna matka" (The Toxic Mother). Between 2010 and 2013, he served as the psychological advisor to Tomasz Gollob and the Polish National Speedway Team. He is passionate about motorcycles, mountains, literature, and model building.

Szymon Lipiec

Szymon Lipiec is a PhD candidate at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and a medical student at the Medical University of Warsaw. He has completed research internships at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute at the University of Cambridge and the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg. His scientific work focuses on malignant brain tumors in children, with a particular interest in the role of the microenvironment and epigenetics in these cancers.

Tomasz Palak

Tomasz Palak is an attorney-at-law, speaker, and lecturer at WSB, WSAiB, WSEI, and UTH universities. He specializes in technology and the internet, helping clients navigate the legal aspects of these fields. As an expert, he has been invited to provide commentary for external outlets, including Dzień Dobry TVN and prawo.pl. He is a highly regarded and experienced speaker, having placed on the podium seven times at I Love Marketing, Poland's largest marketing conference. He has also delivered talks at Infoshare, the largest technology conference in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as at TEDx and numerous other events. Tomasz is the author of the book "Internet a prawo – jak się nie potknąć?" ("The Internet and Law – How Not to Stumble?"). He also writes articles for the press and on his website, tomaszpalak.pl. His publications simplify legal jargon with humor, teaching readers how to understand and leverage legal regulations in practice. As he states on his website, “Let the loopholes and tricks work in your favor.” Beyond his legal career, Tomasz is also a passionate musician and a guitarist in his free time.
