Alex Miranda Rodrigues is a medical doctor, medical educator, and former coordinator of medical programs in the interior of Brazil. With over a decade of experience in medical education, he has been dedicated to developing innovative curricula, integrating new technologies into teaching, and strengthening medical education in remote areas.
He currently leads projects focused on implementing active learning methodologies, realistic simulation, and artificial intelligence in the training of future doctors, always committed to balancing technological innovation with humanized medical practice.
At this conference, he will reflect on how artificial intelligence can transform medical education in Brazil’s interior while preserving the essence of human care.
André Nazar
Director of Academic Operations at Clariens Educação and Gastroenterologist
André Nazar is the Director of Academic Operations at Clariens Educação, an institution backed by Mubadala Capital. He is a gastroenterologist and a full member of the Brazilian Societies of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. With a postgraduate degree in higher education teaching, he has been active in academia since 2001. He holds a Master’s in Family Health, a Master on Research for the Study of Liver Diseases, and a PhD in Medicine and Translational Research from the University of Barcelona. He previously served as Academic Coordinator of the Medical Program and Director of the School of Health Sciences at UNIGRANRIO, as well as Vice President of Health at the UNIFTC Network.
Camille Miguel
Director of Technology and Digital Transformation at Grupo Clariens
Camille Monteiro Viana Miguel is an executive with over 20 years of experience in Technology. She holds a degree in Systems Analysis, an MBA in Project Management from FGV, and an MBA in Strategic Planning from Ibmec, along with certifications in PMO and CSM. Camille has been active in the education sector for over 15 years and is a specialist in digital transformation and artificial intelligence applied to education. Currently serving as Director of Technology and Digital Transformation at Grupo Clariens, she leads innovation and operational efficiency initiatives, integrating advanced technological solutions to enhance both educational and administrative experiences. She also spearheads projects aimed at incorporating artificial intelligence into the academic development of students across the group.
Henrique Pierotti Arantes
Professor and Simulation Center Coordinator at IMEPAC Araguari
Henrique Pierotti Arantes holds a Master’s and PhD from the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). He is a full professor at IMEPAC Araguari University Center and the coordinator of its Simulation Center.
Henrique has received specialized training as a simulation and feedback instructor from the Center for Medical Simulation (CMS) in Boston, United States.
Kenneth Almeida
Consultant and Professor, PhD in Data Science
Kenneth is a Consultant and Professor with a PhD in Data Science. He served as Executive Director of R&D and Education at Hapvida NotreDame Intermédica, leading multidisciplinary projects in healthcare, technology, and management. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked with institutions such as The City College of New York, IBMEC, Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz, Vale, and Grupo Aldeia (Angola). He holds a Postdoctoral degree in Business from FEA-USP, a PhD from UFLA (with research at the Technical University of Lisbon), a Master’s from UFMG, and degrees in Data Science and Psychology. He was also a volunteer visiting researcher at UFC in an international AI project for breast cancer detection. An angel investor in tech startups, Kenneth is the author of books and articles on strategy, leadership, technology, data science, innovation, and R&D.
