Theme: A Boiling World

The theme of the 2024 TEDxHongikU talks is ‘A Boiling World’.

Inspired by the phrase ‘Global Boiling’, this year's theme aims to shine a light on our world, which is literally overheating in many ways.

Whether it's global warming, generational conflict, or the overuse of technology, there are so many controversies that are constantly burning in the fast-growing world of 2024. Just as a small ember in a cigarette can ignite a large fire, the friction and indifference in our society is building up to a boiling point.** **It's time for all of us to pay attention.

This TEDxHongikU will be a time to think about the future with speakers who are creating special wells in the ‘boiling world’ to reawaken our sense of responsibility.

We hope that we can understand and embrace the stories of the world we don't know, and that together we can collect small raindrops to extinguish a huge fire.
