Adam Zeman

independent researcher
Adam Zeman trained in Medicine at Oxford University Medical School after earning a first degree in Philosophy and Psychology. A consultant neurologist in Edinburgh since 1996, he was also Professor of Neurology at Exeter University Medical School from 2005 to 2023. His clinical expertise includes cognitive and behavioural neurology, with a focus on neurological disorders of sleep. With a strong research interest in amnesia associated with epilepsy and disorders of visual imagery, Adam has contributed to multiple research projects and published widely on the science and philosophy of consciousness. He authored Consciousness: A User’s Guide (Yale University Press, 2002), A Portrait of the Brain (Yale, 2008), and edited works like Epilepsy and Memory (OUP, 2012). Adam served as Chairman of the British Neuropsychiatry Association from 2007 to 2011.

Alex Curmi

Consultant psychiatrist
Dr. Alex Curmi is a consultant psychiatrist, speaker, and writer from Malta. He trained in psychiatry at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust and is currently completing his psychotherapy training at the Metanoia Institute. As the founder and host of The Thinking Mind Podcast, he leads in-depth conversations on psychiatry, psychotherapy, self-development, and the philosophy of mental health. Featuring experts from around the world, the podcast makes complex psychological ideas accessible and engaging for the general public. Beyond podcasting, Dr. Curmi has written for The Guardian, exploring the intersection of psychology, culture, and mental health.

Andrea Antonello

Head of Robotics at ClearSpace Today
Andrea Antonello is Head of Robotics at ClearSpace Today, leading the development of advanced robotic systems for sustainable space on-orbiting servicing. With 15+ years of experience in robotics, Andrea has worked in both academia and industry, driving innovation in automation and space systems. With a background in Aerospace Engineering (BSc, MSc, PhD) and an MBA from the University of Iowa, Andrea has contributed to cutting-edge robotics research and development. Previously, as Engineering Manager at Automata, Andrea led a team transforming automation in life sciences. Now focused on space robotics, Andrea is passionate about developing innovative solutions for a more sustainable future beyond Earth.

Bukky Akinsanmi Oyedeji

Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship
Dr. Bukky Akinsanmi Oyedeji is a strategy scholar who studies the relationship between human capital, workplace design, and firm performance. Her research focuses on how complementary firm resources – including physical work environments – affect the value created by a worker, in both established firms and start-ups. Dr. Oyedeji’s work combines architectural and urban design methodologies with econometric approaches to understand how human assets, workflow processes and spatial layouts affect human interaction and firm performance. Her research has been supported by the Strategy Research Foundation, the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development population dynamics program as well as other research grants. Her findings are published in academic journals including Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Management as well as practitioner outlets in management and architecture.

Danny Garg

MBA student, entrepreneur, and musical comedian
Danny Garg is an MBA student, entrepreneur, and musical comedian. A proud third culture kid, Danny was born in the UK, raised in India, and spent his later teenage years in New Zealand; always adapting, observing, and finding humour in the little things that make cultures unique. This experience shaped his sharp, observational style and gave him a unique lens on the world. Danny blends music and comedy to turn everyday moments into witty, relatable songs. Whether it’s public speaking, stand-up, or crafting his next musical parody, he believes that humour and playfulness are powerful tools for connecting with people and building confidence

Deborah Chen

Author
Deborah is the author of two best-selling books in China; her debut novel The Trio, written at age 18, sold over one million copies. She also co-hosts Unsupervised, a podcast on AI that demystifies complex science for a broad audience. Deborah is trilingual with bilingual literacy, having divided her childhood between the UK, China, and Italy. She is a mathematician by training and a PE investor by profession. Her love for both narrative and numbers shapes everything she does.

Heejung Chung

Director of the King’s Global Institute for Women’s Leadership and Professor of Work and Employment
Heejung Chung is Director of the King’s Global Institute for Women’s Leadership and Professor of Work and Employment at King’s College London. She is a comparative labour market researcher with a focus on flexible working, home/remote working, future of work, (intersectional) gender equality and well-being outcomes. She has over two decades of experience of research and teaching. Her recent works have explored the outcomes of new types of work design on workers’ well-being outcomes and social inequalities across gender and racial lines. Her work has been influential in shaping both national (UK, Korea, Germany, Italy, Estonia etc.) and international (European Commission, OECD, ILO, UN etc.) government agencies and policy stakeholders (e.g. Trades Union Congress). She has published over 100 publications, including her recent book The Flexibility Paradox (Policy Press, 2022) and report Flexible working arrangements and gender equality in Europe(European Commission, 2024).

Lucy Webster

Journalist and anti-ableism campaigner
Lucy Webster is an anti-ableism campaigner working across the media, publishing, events and social media to create a more accessible and more inclusive world for disabled people. She covers disability issues for leading publications like the Guardian, the Sunday Times and the FT, and speaks about ableism for organisations like the BBC, News UK and others. She is also a prominent advocate on social media and the co-founder of Every Body Queer, an events initiative providing community spaces for disabled LGBTQ+ people. Her first book, The View From Down Here, is a memoir of life lived at the intersection of ableism and sexism, and a rallying call for disabled women to be fully included in a new feminism.

Milli-Rose Rubin

Musician and writer
Milli-Rose is a musician and writer, who combines both singing and spoken word in her music. Using her personal experiences, Milli-Rose writes and performs material around the topics of mental health, the housing crisis in the UK, and how creativity has sustained a form of therapy throughout uncertain chapters. Through writing and music, Milli-Rose explores these topical issues, which has led to creative facilitation work with young people as well as the creation of music and poetry platform Crossword Lyric, that aims to encourage unfinished work to get rid of perfection in the arts, and build confidence.

Nicolas Bermudez

MBA Student, London Business School
Nicolas Bermudez is currently pursuing his MBA at London Business School, has experience across consulting, financial planning, and startup operations. Beyond work, he has a passion for education, sports, and tech, and has served on the board of the Colombia Waterski Federation.

Sound therapists, musicians, and advocates of spiritual well-being
Qi-Rattan is the internationally acclaimed husband-and-wife duo, Amritpal Singh and Jagdeep Kaur – pioneering sound therapists, musicians, and advocates of spiritual well-being. Their unique fusion of mantra, mindfulness, vibrational medicine, and spiritual wisdom creates deeply immersive soundscapes that heal, inspire, and elevate consciousness. Randall Peterson

Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Founding Director of the London Business School Leadership Institute
Dr. Randall S. Peterson is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Founding Director of the London Business School Leadership Institute. Randall’s award-winning research activities include studies of board dynamics, leading diverse teams, how CEO personality affects top management teams and firm performance, as well as investigating how trust forms in work teams, and the effects of conflict in boards and teams. His research has been featured in major news outlets around the world. Randall’s most recent book is entitled Disaster in the Boardroom: Six Dysfunctions Everyone Should Understand. He has also recently published a landmark report for the FRC entitled Board Diversity and Effectiveness in FTSE 350 Companies, as well as editing a book entitled Leading and Managing People in Dynamic Organizations.

Sarah Hart

Professor Emerita of Mathematics at Birkbeck College
Sarah Hart is a mathematician and author. She is Professor Emerita of Mathematics at Birkbeck College (University of London), and a Fellow of Gresham College, London, where she recently served a four-year term as Professor of Geometry, the first woman to hold this chair since its creation in 1597. Sarah is particularly interested in the cultural, historical and creative impact of mathematics, and the links between mathematics and the arts. Her first book, Once Upon a Prime: The Wondrous Connections Between Mathematics and Literature, published in 2023, was a New York Times Book review Editor’s Choice, and won the Mathematical Association of America’s Euler Book Prize in 2024.

Tim Minshall

Dr. John C. Taylor Professor of Innovation, the head of the Engineering Department’s Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge
Tim Minshall works at the University of Cambridge as the inaugural Dr. John C. Taylor Professor of Innovation, the head of the Engineering Department’s Institute for Manufacturing, and a fellow of Churchill College. His research, teaching, and outreach are focused on the links between manufacturing and innovation. He lives in Cambridge, UK, with his scientist wife, Nicola, and they have two children, Alastair and Elizabeth. Tim is also Chair of Trustees of the Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health (YPMH)
